The fourth partner meeting of Iron Curtain Trail project was held in Sofia, Bulgaria on 21st of January with the participation of representatives of development organisations and non governmental organisations from South East Europe countries that participate in the project.
New partners who joined the ICT project introduced themseves to the partnership: the Association Center For Development And Promotion - Promo Idea from Strumica (FYROM), the Danube Competence Center from Belgrade (Serbia) and Tourist Authority of Koprivnica (Croatia).
All partners discussed progress and tasks ahead in all work packages of the project with the main focus on sustainable mobility and tourism packages along the trail: partners will prepare 48 sustainable transport and tourism packages in the first half of the year based on the common methodology elaborated in work package 4.
Partners also discussed upcoming dissemination and communication tasks: activities related to communicate the southern section of the route towards its end users, in a joint coordinated way. Communication plans at transnational, national and regional levels will be prepared along with a transnational webportal. Details of these work have been discussed thoroughly during the meeting.
Furthermore, partners discussed ideas and following steps on monitoring, evaluation and follow-up activities.
Partners also set the planned date of the final Conference of the project to be held in Hungary at the Croatian border area on 11-12th of September 2014.
